Daniel Markl and Michael Ruggiero presented work at the 10th Annual World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Technology in Glasgow, Scotland. Daniel presented his poster titled 'Mechanistic Understanding of Disintegration in Immediate Release Tablets', and Michael delivered a presentation titled 'Stability Prediction of Amorphous Drug Molecules'.
Daniel Markl and Michael Ruggiero presented work at the 10th Annual World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Technology in Glasgow, Scotland. Daniel presented his poster titled 'Mechanistic Understanding of Disintegration in Immediate Release Tablets', and Michael delivered a presentation titled 'Stability Prediction of Amorphous Drug Molecules'.
The conference showcased recent advances in the pharmaceutical industry with presentations delivered by world-renowned experts. Highlights include the use of inkjet and 3D printing technologies for pharmaceutical manufacturing, the further development and application of process analysers, and novel continuous manufacturing processes.
The conference hosted two social events, one at the Glasgow Science Center where Daniel and Mike were able to unleash their inner-child, and the other at the historic Glasgow University that featured an authentic Scottish pipes band. The guys also had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Glasgow, bringing them to the Glasgow Cathedral and the Tennent's Brewery.
