Farewell to Tim Korter

Professor Tim Korter has just completed his visit to our group for three months as part of his sabbatical from March to May.

We have really enjoyed Tim's visit during which we have worked with him and his group on the elucidation of phase transformation mechanisms in molecular crystals. Tim's group at Syracuse University specialises also in terahertz spectroscopy and they are one of the leading groups in the computational assignment of vibrational modes at terahertz frequencies.

We have measured some very interesting results and will be working hard in the coming weeks to analyse and interpret the data resulting from Tim's visit.
