First dedicated chemical engineering conference was carried out by IChemE at Imperial College London
Chemical Engineering Day 2013
After 20 years the first dedicated chemical engineering conference was carried out by IChemE at Imperial College London. It was well attended by Chemical Engineering departments across Britain. The department was awarding ten students with the best abstracts to present at the conference and an abstract written by Samy Yassin was accepted. TAG then created a poster showcasing how terahertz analysis can be applied in chemical engineering, this was show cased by the resident chemical engineer in the group Samy Yassin.
The conference concluded with a cruise on the Thames, where all participants, wined, dined and danced the night away.
