TAG Welcomes Our New Members

The TAG expands in the new academic year. Let's welcome SIX new members: Amy, Anne, Moritz, Haseeb, Yuxin and Yue.

The TAG is growing! This term, one PhD student, one CDT student, two visiting students, and two IIB students were introduced to terahertz science!

Moritz Anuschek is a visiting master student from the LMU Munich, and he will be with us for 6 months (potentially longer as he likes Cambridge sooo much now). Moritz is working close with Prince exploring the world of pharmaceutical tablets porosities, and he also has a project with Johanna on proteins. Moritz likes all kinds of music, and he loves playing piano and guitar as well. We are looking forward to being invited to his concert in the near future.

Yuxin Wang and Yue Chen are working together with Prince on their IIB project, "Exploring the complex interplay between formulation and compaction conditions on pharmaceutical tablet disintegration". They have already started to get familiar with all aspects: experiments, engineering design, computer programming, and so on. Hope they are having fun in the lab!

Anne Linnet Skelbæk-Pedersen is a visiting industrial-based student from the University of Copenhagen, and she will be with us for two months. She likes doing sports a lot, and is SUPERB at badminton. You are welcome to have a match with her at any time.

Supawan Santitewagun (Amy) managed to join us in November at the last minute of Michaelmas Term. She did her master in Chemical Engineering at the National University of Singapore, and is figuring out a fancy project for her PhD. Let Amy enjoy herself freely in Cambridge for now! We expect her to invite us to a group formal at Sidney Sussex soon.

Haseeb Mahmood is a CDT student in sensor technologies, and he will officially join us for his mini project on batteries early next year and his PhD studies after. Apparently, Haseeb already had his pre-session with the group by joining the "Monday Foodie" event.
