The free electron laser FLARE (Nijmegen, the Netherlands) offers access to high-intensity terahertz radiation.
Using FLARE it is possible to generate a peak power that is about 1 000 000x higher than the lab based THz emitters we normally use. We are currently exploring what non-linear effects this may cause in organic materials. Stay tuned for more news in the near future!
