Group visit to the annual meeting of the Pharmaceutical Solid State Research Cluster
Yet Another Conference
Three members of the Terahertz Applications Group (Axel Zeitler, Juraj Sibik and Samy Yassin) attended the annual Pharmaceutical Solid State Research Cluster (www.pssrc.org) on the 7th of June 2013, where they presented their latest work:
- Axel presented Hungyens Lin's work using terahertz pulsed imaging (TPI) for Inline Measurement of tablet coating processes.
- Juraj Presented his work on materials characterisations of the amorphous phase using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy.
- Samy Presented his work on using TPI as a novel method to look at diffusion on pharmaceutical solid dosage forms.
As well as presenting their excellent work they also had a chance to trial fine pastries from France, including warm croissants!
